The Third Eye

❌The 3rd eye and it’s teachings are not biblical. It is considered to be the additional 6th sense chakra in the body. This chakra is said to be located in the center of your head, parallel to the middle of your eyebrows. It’s believed to be linked to perception, awareness, and spiritual communication. It is said, “developing” or “opening” the third eye is the “doorway” to all things psychic, and the illusion of separation between self and spirit dissolves when the third eye connection is cultivated.”

🎯It is a contorted rendering of Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is unhealthy, your whole body is filled with darkness. And if the light you think you have is actually darkness, how deep that darkness is!”

✅ To see and hear the hidden things of God does require spiritual eyes and ears. Hunger for spiritual truth requires awakened senses in the supernatural. This is biblical. This is scriptural.

❤️‍🔥 Matthew 6:22-23 above expands the thought of Matthew 6:19-21, ““Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be,” so that the eye becomes an illustration of one’s heart.

🎯 In Ephesians 1:15-23, Paul connects our eyes to the heart when he prays, ““the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints..” 🗣️ True spiritual enlightenment can only come from the Holy Spirit.

‼️ The eye, which is a gate, is to be a useful gate, to be single, kingdom, in vision,” not double vision. Double visions = Double minded. If we added in the 3rd eye we’d be adding in a whole other level of demonic confusion.

📚CH Spurgeon: “…if a man does not see things in a right light, he may live in sin and yet fancy that he is doing his duty. A man should live up to his light; but if that light is itself darkness, what a mistake his whole course (LIFE) will be! If our religion leads us to sin, it is worse than irreligion…”
