Rapid Fire

Sometimes delay does not come dressed as rebellion. It comes dressed as wisdom. We tell ourselves the timing is not right, that things need to settle first, that we will obey when life becomes easier. But obedience rarely waits for convenience. What we postpone today can quietly reshape our priorities tomorrow. The question is not always whether something is good. Sometimes the real question is whether it is what God asked for first. reshare @basicoptimism. If God is the Creator of time, space, and matter… This is a long one. Take your time. Read through them. Jonah wasn’t scared. He was loyal. Loyal to his nation. Loyal to his people. Loyal to their safety. And when God told him to go preach to Nineveh, the violent enemy, Jonah didn’t panic because he doubted God. He ran because he understood him. He knew God might forgive them. He knew God might show mercy. That’s the part that hits in this story. Jonah trusted God’s character… He just didn’t like where God was aiming it. Amos wasn’t rejected because he was wrong. He was rejected because he wouldn’t protect the image. We live as though time is a resource we control, something we can stretch, delay, or make up later. But time is not an endless supply. It is a created boundary, assigned to this world and to human life within it. We move inside it every day without realizing how narrow the window actually is. Good intentions are not spiritual authority. 🎯📌🤠
