#france🇫🇷 #fyp #fyp #gospel #jesus #christ Somewhere along the way, people started confusing biblical correction with condemnation and discernment with hatred. And now, the moment someone speaks about sin, false teaching, or the need for repentance, somebody is ready to shout, “JUDGE NOT!” You can be gay, bi, trans, etc... Jesus never waited for people to have perfect lives before He called them to come follow Him. He met people right where they were, but His invitation was always forward: “Follow Me.” Christianity is not about qualifying yourself before you can approach Christ; it is about responding to Him when He calls. The church should never create a doorway narrower than the one Jesus created, but neither should we redefine discipleship to remove repentance and obedience. The door is open to everyone, and the call to follow Jesus is for everyone. https://www.instagram.com/p/Dd3QiGUpQwK/ This could be one of the top misused verses when it comes to church leadership. You will hear it used to mean, “Don’t question the pastor,” “Don’t correct a prophet,” “Don’t expose false teaching,” or “Be careful speaking against that person because they are God’s anointed.” But that is not the full context of what it is talking about. Ps 105 is looking back at the history of God’s people, specifically Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants. They were few in number and traveled through different nations where they were vulnerable to powerful rulers. The Ps. explains that God protected them. He did not allow kings to oppress them. When the verse says “touch,” it is not talking about questioning, disagreeing with, correcting, or examining somebody. The very next words help explain what “touch” means: “Do my prophets no harm.” The context is about people being harmed or mistreated. God was warning rulers not to physically harm the people He had placed His protection over. We see something similar with David and Saul. David refused to kill Saul because Saul was the Lord’s anointed in 1 Samuel 24. But David did NOT refuse to confront Saul. He openly addressed what Saul was doing to him. David respected Saul’s God given position while still acknowledging Saul’s wrongdoing. That shows us that honor and accountability can exist at the same time... and should!! We cannot create a version of God who only comforts us and never confronts us. We love to talk about the God who loves, forgives, restores, comforts, and shows mercy; and we absolutely should, because that is who He is. But He is also holy. He corrects. He disciplines. He commands repentance. He calls us to obedience. He tells us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him. We don't get to keep the parts of God's character that make us comfortable and remove the parts that challenge the way we want to live. Jesus welcomed sinners, ate with sinners, showed compassion to sinners, and gave His life for sinners. But He never presented His love as permission to remain UNCHANGED. His message ALWAYS included repentance. His grace wasn't an endorsement of sin; His grace was an invitation out of it. #ancestor #jesus #bible #fyp #demons To abide means to remain, stay, continue, dwell, or make your home somewhere. It is saying I am not coming or going, but remaining. The occult can be easier to understand when we break it down into three general areas: power, knowledge, and physical objects or tools.
